Carbide Drill Bits
The carbide drill bits provided by Yes Carbide Co., Limited Yescc®l Cutting tools are for industrial use in materials such as cast iron, nonferrous heavy metal and other abrasive materials. Carbide drill bits maintain a sharp cutting edge longer than HSS or Cobalt and are run at higher speed rates as they absorb heat more efficiently. A tipped carbide drill bit is effective in shallow holes and cost less than half of a solid carbide drill bit. When drilling deeper holes in production, solid carbide tools perform very well and coolant fed drills even better. To use this style however, a machine that can feed coolant under pressure is required.
Yes Carbide Co., Limited Yescc®’s carbide drills includes tipped, solid and coolant feeding drills in a wide range of sizes. Our coolant fed drills are standard with AlTin coating to produce a very attractive cost per drilled hole.
Regular Length AlTiN Coated Solid Carbide Drills
Designed for drilling 3 X diameter or less, having 140 degree split point for easy starting and made from micro-grain carbide.
Ideal for mass production drilling
Ground from solid micro-grain carbide
Suitable for cast steel, cast iron, chilled cast iron, malleable cast iron, nonferrous heavy metal, nonferrous light metal, and abrasive plastic
Self-centering
Good chip removal
Product Detail
These AlTin coated drills can be used for any tough material. Easy start point and wide flutes make this an ideal tool for drilling up to 3 diameters deep. The micro-grain carbide withstands both heat and abrasion so it can be run at accelerated speed with light to moderate feed.
Short Length AlTiN Coated Coolant Through Solid Carbide Drills
High production drilling is attained by using collects or holders providing coolant through components and a machine capable of coolant pressure above 200 PSI.
AlTiN coated for abrasion and heat resistance
140 degree split point for easy starting
Easily drills three diameters deep
Product Details
Performance drilling using high pressure coolant with this AlTin coated 140 degree split point drill will accelerate production running at high RPM with moderate feed. Chip evacuation and heat removal extend the life of this drill under difficult drilling conditions.
